Updating referral Status

When you receive a referral from HomeLight, we do require that you keep us updated on the status of your progress by updating the referral stage. Your ability to keep HomeLight updated on your referrals statuses will also affect your ranking within our algorithm. In order to help with keeping your referrals up to date, you will be periodically prompted to update each one.

In your leads portal, you will see that each lead has a corresponding color (red, yellow, and Green). These colors represent when a lead was last updated.

Green - Updated

Yellow - 15 days since the last update 

Red - 30 days since the last update

To access your lead page, first sign into your account. From your profile page go to the top right-hand corner and click on "Leads" as seen in the GIF below.

Once in the "Leads" page, click on the lead that you would like to update. After making your selection, you will be prompted to update the status of the lead. Please note, in the bottom right-hand corner you will see a note section for any additional feedback or comments on the client. (See the example below.)
